Expertly handcrafted from 312 individual pieces of exotic hardwoods, this intricate piece showcases the natural beauty of Canary, Cherry, Mahogany, Maple, Red Oak, Walnut, and White Oak. Rather than relying on stains or dyes, the rich variations in the woods provide the depth, texture, and warmth throughout the composition. Each blossom has been individually hand-painted and carefully sealed, adding a vibrant pop of color that beautifully contrasts with the natural tones of the wood. The result is a timeless work of art that celebrates both the artistry of fine woodworking and the enduring beauty of cherry blossoms in bloom.

The elephant’s face is centered across both panels, with its eyes, trunk, and sweeping ears seamlessly spanning the divide. The ears fan outward dramatically, filling each frame with flowing, organic shapes that emphasize movement and scale. The tusks curve downward in smooth, elegant arcs, adding a sense of strength and grace to the composition.

The piece is masterfully crafted from a selection of exotic woods—Aspen, Cherry, Leopardwood, Mahogany, Walnut, and Wenge—each contributing distinct tones and grain patterns. Warm reddish hues from Cherry and Mahogany blend with the golden and light tones of Aspen, while the darker Walnut and Wenge provide contrast and depth. Leopardwood introduces unique texture, adding visual interest with its characteristic grain.

Behind the elephant, a geometric wood pattern anchors the background, contrasting with the fluid, natural lines of the animal. The interplay between angular and organic forms enhances the overall design, giving it both structure and motion.

Framed in matching wood frames that complement the natural palette, the diptych presentation elevates the artwork into a bold statement piece. It beautifully combines fine woodworking with artistic expression, resulting in a warm, richly textured portrayal that feels both modern and timeless.
